The La Case Foundation respects your right to data protection in the field of online communications when you use our websites and communicate with us electronically. We put in place all necessary measures to secure the personal information that you entrust to us. It is important for us to inform you that the La Case Foundation is responsible for the processing of personal data (please refer to question 18 of this Notice). The principles set out in this Notice apply to each data controller of the La Case Foundation. We have answered several questions that you certainly ask yourself about the personal data that you transmit to La Case Foundation. The answers to these questions inform you of your rights regarding your personal data and the measures taken by La Case Foundation to ensure the confidentiality and security of this data. 1. What personal data does the La Case Foundation collect through this site and how does the La Case Foundation collect it?            We collect only the personal data that YOU want to provide us or those that are necessary for the proper functioning of our services. We collect direct personal data such as name, address and email address, as well as indirect information such as cookies and login and system information. You may want to provide us with your contact information (name, phone number and email address) to receive information about our activities.

2.How does the La Case Foundation ensure the security of your personal data?            The La Case Foundation takes all the necessary measures to guarantee the security and confidentiality of your personal data. 3.For what purposes Does the La Case Foundation use your personal data? Your personal data will be used for the purposes for which you provided it to Nestlé. They will also be used to obtain your opinion on the quality of our services and to prevent security breaches, the law or our contractual conditions.

4.To whom does The La Case Foundation disclose your personal data and for what purpose?            The La Case Foundation will never disclose your personal data to Third Parties for the purpose of using it for direct marketing purposes unless specifically authorized by you. As for the La Case Foundation’s policy regarding: (i) direct marketing by e-mail; (ii) your right to ask the La Case Foundation at all times not to contact you via commercial e-mails; as well as (iii) your right to erase your personal data from our system – please refer to Questions 8 & 5.

The La Case Foundation may share your personal data with Third Parties but only under the strictly limited conditions set out below: • We may provide your personal data to third parties (such as our Internet Service Providers) who participate in the management of this site. Some of these partners may be outside Switzerland. Our main hosting provider is in the United States. Please refer to Question 6 – “To which countries will your personal data be sent and for which purposes? “. These Third Parties must at all times provide levels of protection equivalent to those of Nestlé, and are contractually obliged to ensure the confidentiality and security of your personal data, and to treat them only as directed by the La Case Foundation. • We may also have to provide your personal data to public bodies or judicial authorities for legal reasons; or if we believe in good faith that such an act is reasonably necessary to comply with legal procedures; to respond to any claim or action; or to protect the rights of The La Case Foundation or the public. • We may, in limited circumstances, be required to forward your personal data to potential La Cart Foundation potential buyers, provided that (i) we have contractually assured that such information remains confidential and secure, and (ii) La Case Foundation complies with applicable national law when providing such personal data.

5.How can you view, modify or delete the personal data you have sent us? You are entitled to ask us to provide you with all the data in our possession concerning you. You may also request that your personal data be deleted, corrected or modified by sending an email to fondation.lacase@rdls.nestle.com or a letter to The La Case Foundation, Rte du Jorat 59, 1000 Lausanne 26.

6.What countries will your personal data be sent to and for what purpose?            The server that makes this site accessible may be located outside of Switzerland. Our main hosting provider is in the United States. This supplier is bound by a contract which guarantees the same level of data protection as in Switzerland and which requires (among other provisions) that the latter act only at the request of the La Case Foundation and implement all necessary technical measures, permanently, to ensure the security of your personal data.

7.COOKIES – “Tracking-Technologies” – How and for what purposes Does the La Case Foundation use them? The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to Google and Webtrends and stored on servers in the United States. Google and Webtrends will use this information to evaluate your use of the site, compiling site activity reports on behalf of Internet operators and providing other services related to site activities and use of the site.
